Hi everyone.

I'm Cliff Hawley.  I live on a small suburban lot in the Rosemont area of Sacramento.  So far my garden is limited to three 3' X 7' vegetable beds and one 2 1/2' X 2 1/2' bed for strawberries in my backyard.  I'd love to remove my whole front yard to make room for a lot more garden beds. 

I grew up on a small farm in the small town of Lincoln, CA. My mom raised Quarter Horses and we always had a nice 1/2 acre vegetable garden.  My parents still live there and still raise horses (free manure for my garden ).  I look forward to reading more about other people's experience with their urban farms.
